Thank you to all of you for such a great 2025! Whether you're a new client, old friend or you've just been cheering me on along the way, I appreciate you.

This year when my baby was about 6 months old I decided to launch Walnut Tree Accountancy, and while it has been a lot of work, it has also been the best decision! I'm building this business not just for me, but for my family. It's really rewarding being able to run my own practice while raising my son and I'm so grateful to all my clients, old and new, who have made this possible.

Whether your 2025 has been similarly busy, exciting, or challenging, I wish you all the best for 2026.

Of course, don't forget about the personal tax deadline at the end of this month! 31 January is looming and I know lots of people haven't submitted or paid their taxes yet. Drop me a message if you need any help.

Happy Halloween! 🎃👻

As some of you may know, family is so important to me - it's the reason Walnut Tree Accountancy exists!

Shortly after the birth of my son last year, I was telling my partner how I can't imagine commuting into London 5 days a week anymore - I want to spend as much time as possible with my little boy. He suggested I expand my accountancy business and for me it was a no brainer.

I love what I do and being able to work from home alongside my partner is amazing. It means I can switch from work mode to mum mode throughout the day, popping out to Guildford high street when I have client meetings.

I am delighted to be now operating as Walnut Tree Accountancy. Those of you who know me will be aware that I've been running a small practice for a few years now, on a referrals only basis. But recently I've been working on expanding and am now taking on new clients.

I've been working with small businesses and landlords in some capacity for over ten years, and have worked across audit, practice and industry. Since I qualified as a Chartered Accountant, I've been wanting to set up my own practice, and I've finally done it!

As I'm an independent accountant, you can be sure you know who's working on your taxes. We can meet in person to discuss your needs, and I'm just at the end of the phone if any of my clients need me.
