WeAreTechWomen is so proud to be a core partner of the TechFirst Women’s Programme, a FREE UK Government-funded initiative designed to help at least 300 women into paid technology roles! 🙌

What a week it has been! Five days of incredible events, conversations, connections and inspiration, all focused on supporting women in tech across the UK!

However Friday the 16th is all about you! It is about celebrating the amazing women who make up our industry, and we have one big ask of every woman working in tech! 🙌

We want to hear your story! ❤️

Whether you have been in tech for 30 years or just 30 days, whether you fell into the industry by accident, pivoted from another career or have worked your way up through the ranks, we want you to tell us your story!

Tell us how you got here, what you love about working in tech, what you have achieved, the challenges you have overcome or perhaps share a little advice for the women coming through behind you.

Let’s absolutely flood LinkedIn and our socials today with the stories of incredible women in tech! 🙌

Today was special with events taking place in Manchester, Nottingham, London, Cardiff,
Milton Keynes and so many other Cities and Towns. The WeAreTechWomen team kicked off at House of Parliament with two ministers Samantha Niblett MP and Chi Onwurah alongside the Lovelace Report authors Karen Blake MBE, Deborah O’Neill and Dr Vanessa Vallely OBE - thereafter we were at the guildhall for a senior leaders roundtable with private and public sector leaders. Elsewhere there were an abundance of virtuals as well as events for school children with Apps for Good

A huge thank you to all event leaders, speakers, hosts and attendees for taking part today 👏 You are what makes this week so special.

Tomorrow is the final day of and it is a day of celebration! A time to tell your stories! We are calling on all of you to take to your socials and tell your Women in Tech story - Let’s amplify women’s voices to inspire others 🔊
