We've had a great day at the ASE Cyber Security event today, where Wild & Co were delighted to be exhibiting.

David and Graham enjoyed hearing from some excellent speakers, catching up with familiar faces and meeting other delegates.

We also ran a quick survey at our stand to find out which accounting software was the most popular in the room – and Xero came out on top!

As Xero Gold Partners, we're big advocates of the platform and the benefits it brings to businesses, so it was great to see it proving so popular.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our stand for a chat, and to ASE for organising such an informative event.

If you own a buy-to-let property, you may have wondered if moving it into a limited company would reduce your tax bill. It’s a question we are being asked more frequently, especially by landlords who are higher-rate taxpayers or who are growing a portfolio.

The short answer is yes, it can be possible, but it’s not as simple as changing the name of the Land Registry. From a legal point of view, you are usually selling the property to a separate entity, your company. That means there can be tax, mortgage and legal costs to consider before deciding if the move is worthwhile.

🎤 What a brilliant evening at Singo Bingo!

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we’ve already raised an amazing £2,650 for Dementia Forward – and the total is still rising.

It was lovely to see so many people there enjoying themselves and supporting us.

A huge thank you to Rooster's Brewing Co. for having us, Pizza Social for the food, Shane for keeping us entertained all evening and Dementia Forward for coming along and being part of it.
