A little look behind the scenes at Treggena 💛

It’s been a very busy few months for our team and we wanted to share a little of what we’ve been working on.

The tax return rush certainly hasn’t disappeared. We’re still working through returns every week, and it’s been brilliant to see so many people from across the UK putting their trust in our team to look after their tax and accountancy needs.

Alongside this, our Free VAT Reviews have kept us particularly busy.

We’ve had businesses come to us simply wanting a second look at their VAT position and some reassurance that everything is being handled as it should be.

In some cases, however, our reviews have identified VAT on expenses that hadn’t previously been claimed. Where the rules and records allow, we’ve then been able to look back over previous periods, potentially up to four years, to identify eligible VAT that may have been missed.

For some clients, it’s meant finding opportunities they didn’t know were there. For others, it’s simply provided the reassurance that everything is already being handled correctly. Both outcomes are exactly why we introduced the reviews.

We’ve also welcomed plenty of new clients through our doors recently, from individuals needing help with their tax returns to businesses looking for ongoing accountancy support.

And perhaps the most rewarding part has been hearing the feedback afterwards.
