Lynas Vokes Investments Ltd We are independent financial advisers and can help you with pensions, investments and mortgage advice

Lynas Vokes is a firm of independent financial advisers specialising in the management of investment portfolios and pensions. We've been helping clients navigate complex financial markets since 1972 and from those very early days our business has evolved primarily through client recommendations. Based in Holbeach, near to Spalding, we provide impartial, unbiased and objective financial advice, with a view to protecting and enhancing our client's wealth and sense of well-being. Our qualified advisers cover the whole financial services market. Whether you are seeking to build an investment portfolio or creating a tax-efficient retirement strategy we have the expertise to provide the answer. Our approach:
Our initial meeting is usually without charge after which we provide in writing a full explanation of costs. We do nothing until we have a thorough understanding of our client's requirements. With that knowledge, we can identify the products that will enable our clients to achieve their goals delivered by an entirely personal service. We then prepare and analyse recommendations, assessing benefits against cost. Our final proposals are well-researched and constructed on the basis of what's best for our clients and nobody else. And of course, we are prepared to work alongside our client's Accountants and Solicitors. We firmly believe in the importance of working together to build rewarding relationships and working closely with our clients enables us to help them fulfill and achieve their objectives. Lynas Vokes focus on flexibility and offer a wide range of investment options.

The Bank of Mum and Dad is always open… but what about your own financial future?

Whether it’s helping with a first home, contributing towards a wedding, supporting university costs or simply giving children or grandchildren a helping hand, many of us would love to be able to support our family financially.

But before giving away a significant amount, it’s important to understand what that could mean for your own plans.

Can you comfortably afford it?
Could it affect the retirement you’re working towards?
Will you still have enough set aside for unexpected costs?
And are there any tax or estate-planning considerations to think about?

Helping the next generation can be incredibly rewarding, but it shouldn’t come at the expense of your own financial security.

Good financial planning can help you understand what you can afford to give, while keeping your own future firmly in the picture.

⚽ Proud to support the next generation of local talent!

We’re delighted to be a proud sponsor of Spalding United Girls U14s and to play a small part in supporting these talented young players as they train, compete and enjoy being part of a team.

Grassroots sport is about so much more than what happens on the pitch. It builds confidence, teamwork, resilience and friendships – skills that can last a lifetime.

We’re proud to support our local community and wish the girls a fantastic season ahead. Go team! 👏⚽

🏁 AND WE’VE DONE IT! 🚲🎉

After four days of cycling, aching legs and plenty of determination, we’ve completed the equivalent of the distance from Land’s End to John o’ Groats — and we’ve raised an incredible £5,581 + Gift Aid for Prostate Cancer UK💙

We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has supported, encouraged and donated to us along the way. Every mile, message and donation has helped keep us going, and it really does mean a lot to the whole team. 🙌

A special thank you once again to Old Bank Gym Long Sutton, for kindly loaning us the bike. We genuinely couldn’t have smashed our time target without it! 🚴‍♂️💪

And finally, a huge thank you to our incredible team, who have put their all into this challenge. The commitment, determination and team spirit over the last few days has been fantastic - we couldn’t have done it without you! 👏🔥

We’ve smashed the challenge… but now there’s one important question:

What shall we do next year? 🤔🚲

🏁 THE FINISH LINE IS IN SIGHT!! 🏁🚲

Day Four and, although our legs are aching and our bums are definitely feeling the miles, we’re still pushing hard to hit our target! 💪🏻🔥

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way — especially those who have gone above and beyond by popping in after a full day at work to jump on the bike and add some extra miles to our total. Your support has been incredible! 👏🏻

We’re so close now… let’s do this, team!! 💪🏻🚲🔥

And remember, every donation makes a difference — keep them coming! ❤️

Today is World Financial Planning Day.

Having savings, pensions and investments is a great start, but do they all work together towards the life you want?

Financial planning is about looking at the bigger picture.

It means understanding where you are now, where you’d like to be in the future, and putting a plan in place to help you get there.

Whether that means retiring comfortably, helping your children or grandchildren, travelling more, or simply having greater confidence about your finances, having a clear plan can make all the difference.

Your finances shouldn’t just be a collection of different accounts and investments. They should have a purpose.

This World Financial Planning Day, why not take a moment to ask yourself: Do I have a financial plan, or do I simply have financial products?

“I’ll sort my pension out next year…”

Sound familiar?

When retirement still feels a long way off, it can be easy to put pension planning towards the bottom of the to-do list.

But when it comes to your financial future, time can be incredibly valuable.

Starting earlier gives you more time to build your retirement savings, review how your pensions are performing and make adjustments along the way.

And if you’ve already been putting it off? There’s no need to dwell on the time that’s passed. What matters is what you do next.

Whether retirement is 5, 10 or 20 years away, understanding where you are now can help you make more informed decisions about where you want to be.

Maybe this is the year to stop saying “next year”.
