Incredible Edible Hoylake would like to invite everyone to our Wassail in Meols Park at 1.30, Sunday 11th January. The amazing Hoylake Border Morris will be joining us to help chase the boggarts away. Come and join us for some winter celebrations! Everyone is welcome. Thanks to Wirral Pomona for their support, too.

Hoylake has a new Border Morris Dance Side and I'm delighted to hear that they are coming to share their dances with us at the Wassails at Brimstage and Meols on the 5th and 12th January respectively. They'll have spare sticks and jackets, live. music and the patience to show you what you need to do to join in! With hot apple, lambs' wool and roasted codlins, toasts to the birds, growers, cider-makers and the trees and songs to scare the Boggarts away and banging pans with loud noises to charm the good-folk of the orchard (or it could be the other way round?)
