Our year with Ruddi’s Retreat has come to an end, whilst we wait for the final tally up of our efforts, we want to welcome Andys Man Club as our new charity of the year and kick off the welcome with our much loved curry night!

Andy’s Man Club are a men’s su***de prevention charity, offering free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups across the United Kingdom and online. We want to end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and help men through the power of conversation. .

Join us for our annual curry night on Monday 12th May 2025 at the Chilli Lounge in Huddersfield. Tickets are £27pp for 3 course curry buffet with sides. Contact Ange at the office to reserve your place and confirm dietary requirements: 01484 54 11 55 or [email protected]

Did you know that SMH Sheards dates all the way back to 1903?

Our roots go back over 120 years to when Fred Sheard set up shop in the Kirkgate Buildings after branching out from a local firm. What began as Fred Sheard and Sons has grown through generations of family leadership, key partnerships, and incredible people who helped shape the practice into what it is today.

From its humble beginnings to its transformation in the 2000s under the leadership of Kevin Winterburn and Carolyn Atkinson, the journey of SMH Sheards is one we’re incredibly proud of.
