We are looking to recruit a qualified accountant for our established chartered certified accountancy practice. This is initially a part-time position with the possibility of additional hours in the future. Applications are welcome from freelance accountants as well as those seeking employment.

The ideal candidate will have worked in an accountancy practice environment within the last two years, with recent experience in the preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, together with sole trader and partnership accounts from incomplete records as well as from software. A good working knowledge of personal and corporate tax is essential and you should be proficient in the use of IT, as our practice is mainly cloud-based.

We are a flexible, friendly firm with a varied client base and are looking for a team player who will support our clients and colleagues. This is primarily an office-based role and you should be able to commute easily to our office in the centre of Ilminster. Pay will be dependent on experience.
