On Armed Forces Day we want to reflect on our journey with the Armed Forces Covenant (AFC) and Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS), a journey that has shaped who we are as a business and strengthened our core values.
Our involvement began long before any formal recognition. As specialists in Engineering recruitment, we regularly support highly skilled engineers transitioning out of the military. It quickly became clear just how much guidance, structure, and advocacy we could provide to service leavers. Their technical expertise, discipline, and problem‑solving ability aligned perfectly with the industries we recruit for, and we recognised the responsibility we had to champion their talent.
This commitment became official in April 2024, when we proudly received the AFC Covenant Bronze Award. Throughout that year, we engaged in a range of military events, strengthening our understanding of the community and the support they need.
In July 2025, our dedication was further acknowledged with the AFC Silver Award under the ERS, a milestone that reflects our ongoing promise to support veterans, reservists, cadets, and military families.
We have had the privilege of attending key events such as the Regional Engagement Deference Conference, Sandhurst’s Officers Passing out Parade, the Lord Lieutenant Awards, Conversations with Cadets, and numerous recruitment events. These opportunities have allowed us to offer career guidance, transition support, and practical advice to those starting to navigate civilian employment. This is something we consider central to our role as a responsible employer.
