So, here's a whizzy marketing email that plopped into my mailbox this morning

Great โ but, according to my calender, the end of January 2025 has already passed โ so, unless you can accompany your email with a time machine to take me back to February 2021, what possible use was that this email.
People โ I said it before and Iโll say it again: Choosing a fund because it performed well over recent years, is little better than saying โlast weekโs winning lottery numbers were 7, 23, 25, 31,33 and 39 โ so those are definitely the numbers to choose this week.
Stop looking at the past performance. It's gone.
