Farm owners and tenant farmers, if you have been adversely affected by this summer's drought, RABI has grants of up to £2,000 which you can apply for.

Applications for farms in the South West open from 12pm on Monday 7 September.

Life is pretty tough for our farming communities right now. The lack of rain is affecting grazing and the harvest, and the Bluetongue virus is adding more pressure and costs to farmers.

This time next week (13 August), we'll be at the Okehampton Show.

What a fabulous day we had at the Launceston Agricultural Show yesterday.

It was great to catch up with so many clients, business associates and friends.

Thanks to Alex Hart for providing a superb musical backdrop to the occasion.

It was lovely to welcome visitors to the stand of all ages, with the cutest smile of the day going to little Henry Rowe ☺️

Next stop, Okehampton Show on Thursday 13 August - will we see you on the UHY Peninsula stand?

There's just one week to go before the Launceston Agricultural Show - woo woo 🥳

Come and meet the UHY Peninsula team on our stand; it's in the same place as last year, stand number i6.

Plus, we're delighted to be sponsoring two fantastic livestock competitions, the Ayrshire Cattle and the Zwartbles sheep.

Callum's on a roll!

Having already passed the first two exams of his Level 7 apprenticeship (Assurance & Risk Fundamentals (Certificate level) and Tax Compliance & Planning (Professional level), he has now passed his Assurance, Risk and Reporting exam.

But there's no rest for the (not so) wicked - he's already studying hard for his next exam, Corporate Reporting, which he will be sitting in early September.

Thanks to Accountancy Learning for Callum's apprenticeship training support.

Callum will be on our trade stands at the Launceston Agricultural Show on 30 July and the Okehampton Show on 13 August, if you'd like to drop by, say hello and enjoy some of the refreshments we'll be serving 😎
