🎉 PWH ACCOUNTANCY IS 13 TODAY! 🎉

Well… somehow we’ve made it to 13 years in business! 🥳

Apparently that makes us a teenager now… so expect the odd attitude, questionable decisions, staying up too late and thinking we know everything. 😂

From starting out 13 years ago to where we are today, it’s fair to say we’ve grown a bit! 📈 What started as a little idea has turned into a business we’re incredibly proud of.

And that’s down to two things…

🚤 Accountants afloat! 🚤

Today we took the team out of the office and onto the water for a bit of team building.

No spreadsheets. No tax returns.… just narrowboats, questionable navigation skills and a lot of gin !

We may be accountants, but apparently we still can’t make a boat balance. ⚓️🤣

🎉 MTD SUBMISSIONS — ALL DONE! 🎉

That’s a wrap! 🙌

PWH Accountancy has now completed ALL of our clients’ MTD submissions — and the best part…

✅ Every single one was submitted on time! 👏

A massive well done to the whole team for getting through them all. MTD has certainly kept us busy, but we’ve got every client across the line and can now breathe a little easier! 😅

“You get what you pay for.” It’s something we hear all the time in the accountancy profession.

Many accountants believe that if an accountant is inexpensive, they can’t possibly provide a high-quality service. We don’t agree.

At our practice, we’ve built a different business model. Rather than charging a small number of clients very high fees, we look after a large number of clients and keep our fees affordable. That doesn’t mean we cut corners.

Our clients still receive:
✅ Experienced accountants.
✅ Proactive tax advice.
✅ Fast responses.
✅ Personal service.
✅ The same attention to detail as businesses paying much higher fees elsewhere.

A high fee doesn’t automatically mean a better accountant, just as a low fee doesn’t mean a poor one.

For us, it’s about offering excellent value. We’d rather build long-term relationships with lots of happy clients than maximise profit from each individual client.

Affordable doesn’t mean inferior. It simply means we’ve chosen a different way of doing business.

What matters most isn’t what your accountant charges – it’s the value, advice and service you receive.

🚨 Don’t ignore Making Tax Digital (MTD) 🚨

If you’re required to be on MTD and don’t file properly, HMRC will penalise you — it’s as simple as that.

❌ Miss submissions → penalty points
❌ Too many points → £200 fines (and more every time you miss another deadline)
❌ Late payment → extra penalties + interest
❌ Poor records → fines of up to £3,000

This isn’t something you can put off — the longer it’s ignored, the more it costs.

If you’re not set up yet or don’t understand what you need to do, now’s the time to sort it.
