💰 We all want to keep our margins strong, right?
And yes, I’m all for doing those pesky office jobs ourselves, saving a few quid and getting on with it.
Until it gets complicated… 😂
I recently decided I needed a sparkly new website.
“I can do that myself. Piece of cake!” 🍰
Fast forward 5 hours… I gave up.
Then came the procrastination.
Should I carry on? Start again? Change the design? Do I even know what I’m doing?! 🤦‍♀️
I chatted to a few colleagues, sat on it for weeks and still had absolutely nothing to show for my efforts.
So that “saving” suddenly looked a little different…
5 hours of my time could easily equate to £150 of billable work — and I still didn’t have a website!
And that’s before we factor in all the time I spent thinking about it. 😩
Eventually, after chatting with the lovely Flick, I decided to speak to a professional.

After a fun Zoom chat, they completely understood what I needed, understood me, and built me a website I absolutely love.
Best decision I made.
And it got me thinking…
