Our Head of Workforce Development, David O'Brien, took part in the Recruit, Retain, Thrive: Strengthening the Care Workforce panel at the Care Roadshow North West last month.

The session explored some of the biggest workforce challenges facing social care today, which is so important as we know that high-quality care starts with supporting the people who are delivering it. Our very own Kate Dilworth is looking forward to joining the panel at the upcoming Franchise Recruitment Seminar hosted by the British Franchise Association in Stoke on 25 June, where she will be sharing some reflections on fixing bottlenecks in franchise recruitment.

She shares, "Over the years, I’ve found that the biggest challenge is rarely generating enquiries — it’s identifying the individuals who are fully aligned with your brand values and business model and building trusted relationships with them from the outset.

"Too often, bottlenecks occur when time and resources are focused in the wrong places. I'll be talking about how we've identified and addressed these issues over the last 15 years at Right at Home."
