When speaking with prospects about the need for financial advice it's common to hear "I don't earn enough money to need financial advice".
People pass over the opportunity to experience what financial planning actually looks like, due to their own perception that financial advice is only for the wealthy, which isn't true.
In the book Psychology of Money there is a key example why people need to venture out of this mindset.
It talks about a janitor of a high school who earns an average salary and saved what little money he could. The janitor invested little by little and benefitted from compound growth over the long-term, he ended up with an estate worth £6.6m.
There are opportunities for everyone regardless of salary or disposable income, exploring those opportunities isn't going to make your financial situation any worse, but could certainly make it better.
