France is moving to mandatory e-invoicing.

From 1 September 2026, all VAT-registered businesses in France must be able to receive electronic invoices through an approved platform. Large and medium-sized companies will also be required to issue e-invoices from this date, while small businesses will follow from September 2027.

The UK has fully transitioned to digital visas. New applicants will no longer receive visa stickers in their passports — their immigration status will be confirmed through an eVisa.

Existing visa stickers will remain valid until their expiry date.

From 1 February, Companies House will increase its statutory fees.

On average, government filing fees will rise by 1.5–2 times, affecting company incorporations, filings, and other standard services.
The increase is part of a broader reform aimed at strengthening oversight, data verification, and tackling misuse of corporate structures.
