Fulfilling Divine Purpose

I could not help thinking about this scripture as I watched Queen Elizabeth II body move from Balmoral this morning to her final resting place in London. 1 Kings 2 vs 10-12.

We could all relate with the sadness that we have all felt at losing loved ones and doing that journey from home to the final resting place. May the Holy Spirit strengthen the Royal family and our nation during this hour.

Living out such an honourable life, fulfilling ones purpose that she was born into with such excellence! It is only at the end of the race that we can reflect on the fullness of the extent that a life was well lived with its challenges and all. It is when we get to fully appreciate the great impact it had in the world and the servitude it accomplished.

I Kings 2 vs10-12 So David rested with his fathers, and was buried in the City of David. The period that David reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years he reigned in Hebron, and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty-three years. Then Solomon sat on the throne of his father David; and his kingdom was firmly established.


Balmoral means a heavy laced leather walking boot- How apt to have it be the place to go to sleep and step out of the big shoes she had to walk in for 70 years. RIP HRH QE II.

Owning your home in your lifetime is something that almost everyone desires. It gives a sense of security, peace and stability to any family. Rising property prices and strict requirements that need to be met can often discourage many who are in the throws of experiencing life start to feel hopeless or discouraged at how they are going to get to accomplish this goal.

The Israelites were displaced foe many years and one of the things that kept them going was the word of God for them and His promises over their lives. What this did was continue to stir up their faith and encourage them to take the necessary actions they were asked to in Obedience, trusting that God was leading them to an expected end.

“The Lord your God will soon bring you into the land he swore to give you when he made a vow to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It is a land with large, prosperous cities that you did not build. The houses will be richly stocked with goods you did not produce. You will draw water from cisterns you did not dig, and you will eat from vineyards and olive trees you did not plant. When you have eaten your fill in this land, be careful not to forget the Lord, who rescued you from slavery in the land of Egypt.
Deuteronomy 6:10‭-‬12 NLT

What a beautiful promise to encourage one to keep believing. Are you believing that you will own your home too one day? The last few years in the UK has seen what for many was divine intervention through the government Help to but scheme and the stamp duty break. Many actualized this dream.

As the HTB scheme is coming to an end and you are nowhere near achieving your dream you can start to feel discouraged that you missed it and so you will continue to be priced out!

You keep doing what you need to do with saving your deposit/looking for extra income streams to save money, improve or keep your credit score clean and keep an eye out for opportunities to come up. When the time is right for you and the window is open, have the courage to move. Have the end goal in mind and imagine getting this text in your inbox or email. Even though you may not be sure of all the details of exactly how it is going to manifest- Believe that It's Happening and walk into it!

When you can find one or two people who can lift up your hands and support the vision you have, you need to be grateful. These people are the real GOLD! We live in a selfish world where most are only concerned about what is in it for them without giving back.

Houses have been bought, scamming schemes have been avoided, quirky businesses started with solid structures, retirement plans kicked up a gear, financial and relational agreements reviewed and Protection plans and wills written because our community has gained better insight into UNDERSTANDING MONEY where we are Building Generational Wealth through Financial Literacy.
