Congratulations to our ICAEW learners! 🎉

This week, we enjoyed celebrating our ICAEW learners' final week at the Manor. It was wonderful to see everyone come together, with tutors, the learning team, and the catering team to recognise their hard work and achievements.

From a scavenger hunt to an evening enjoying the sunshine, it was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on all they’ve accomplished together. And - a special thank you to Jenny Winstanley for organising such a well-deserved send-off. 👏

Great to welcome Nick Wilson, Business Development Manager, and Shelley Cook, Partner Account Manager, from AAT to Reed Business School.

We had exciting discussions around new AAT qualifications, enhancing our training and assessment centre offering, and strengthening progression pathways from AAT Level 2 through to Chartered Accountancy.

It was also great to have Nick and Shelley join us for filming, helping showcase the career opportunities and progression routes that an AAT qualification can unlock.

We're excited about the opportunities ahead and continuing to work together to support the next generation of accounting professionals.

We’re proud to be shaping future Chartered Accountants with Ellacotts Accountancy.

Through our qualifications and apprenticeships, we’re supporting the next generation of talent. It was great to hear from Giles Nunn, Head of People & Innovation, on the strength of our partnership and the structured programme apprentices benefit from, alongside Claire Rigby, Partner and former RBS alumna.

We also heard from apprentices Scott, Verity and Amie as they progress at different stages of their Level 7 journey to Chartered status.

A huge congratulations to Lucie Hawkes, RBS ICAEW Level 7 Accountancy & Taxation Apprentice at Pinfields Accountants LLP, for achieving the highest mark globally in her Tax Compliance exam (December 2025).

Scoring an incredible 99%, Lucie has been awarded First Place and the prestigious Knox Prize by the ICAEW for her outstanding exam achievement.
