If your business provides a vehicle — or you use your own for work — there's a real tax decision to make.

Company car: you'll pay Benefit in Kind (BIK) tax based on the car's value and emissions. Electric vehicles still have the lowest BIK rates, but they're creeping up.

Personal car + mileage claim: 45p per mile for the first 10,000 business miles, 25p after that. No BIK to worry about.
