We're proud to support our valued partner, Sesame Bankhall Group, in raising funds for the Little Green Sock Project, a fantastic Manchester-based charity dedicated to reducing the financial burden on families in need by providing essential children's items, from clothing and shoes to prams, cots, nappies, sanitary products, and much more.

As part of their annual charity raffles taking place throughout July and August, we're delighted to have donated a prize to help support this incredible cause.

In addition, four brave members of the Sesame Bankhall Group team will be taking on a 170ft abseil challenge on 26th June to raise funds for the Little Green Sock Project.

Recently, our Commercial Manager Callum Finnigan, alongside our Regional Director, Darren Byrne hosted a group of introducers for a very different kind of thank you, this time taking them to Tattu Manchester.

More than just a meal, it was an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, enjoy some fantastic hospitality, and spend quality time together with the people who have supported Callum and our wider team over time.

The afternoon was all about great company and strengthening the relationships that sit at the heart of what we do.

A big thank you to everyone who joined, it was a fantastic afternoon with plenty of laughs and a brilliant atmosphere throughout.

Recently, we had the pleasure of taking our team members who have been with Watts Commercial for 10 years or more out for a meal at Lucky Cat Manchester as a small thank you for their incredible commitment and loyalty.

Our Regional Director, Darren Byrne, Senior Commercial Manager, Mark Heywood, and Commercial Manager, Inder Sirha recently participated in events surrounding UKREiiF, the UK’s leading forum for investment, regeneration, and driving development to support economic growth.

Over the two days, the team connected with key industry professionals and explored a wide range of opportunities across the property and finance sectors. They also attended events hosted by Together, United Trust Bank (UTB), and Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB), providing excellent opportunities to strengthen relationships and share insights across the sector. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all three organisations for the kind invitations and for hosting such valuable events.

A slightly different kind of Friday in Manchester for our Senior Commercial Manager, Mark Heywood, who hosted a group of introducers and clients at 10 Tib Lane alongside our Assistant Commercial Manager, Olly Byrne.

Rather than a typical day in the office, Mark brought everyone together over lunch to say thank you in person for their continued support and the role they play in keeping deals moving. It created a relaxed, informal setting with great conversation and a chance to strengthen relationships away from the usual pace of the working week.

A huge thank you to Hampshire Trust Bank for their generous sponsorship and ongoing support in making this event possible. Their commitment to the broker community is genuinely appreciated and played a key role in bringing everyone together in such a great setting.

Following International Day of Families on Friday 15th May, we were delighted to host our bi-annual Family Fun Day on Saturday 16th May at Alton Towers, and what a day it was!

A real highlight in our calendar, this event is our way of saying thank you not only to our team, but also to the families, partners, and children who provide such vital support behind the scenes, enabling our people to perform at their best every day.

From start to finish it was a jam-packed day full of fun, laughter, and quality time together outside of the office, set in a truly fantastic setting. A day not to be missed, and one that brings our wider Watts Commercial family together in the best way possible.

Another excellent team meeting yesterday, hosted at Wychwood Park Hotel, our second of the year.

With 24 Commercial Managers based across the whole of the UK, these regular sessions are a vital part of how we stay aligned, share insight, and strengthen collaboration across the team. They deliver real value to everyone who attends and help ensure we continue to provide a consistent, high-quality service nationwide.

We were also pleased to welcome updates from Charissa Chang and Ashley Bailey at Allica Bank, Eloise Potts, Sam Debenham, Matt Fullford and Karl Kent at Paragon Bank, and William Newington and Philip Simmons at Playter.
