We have another member of our fabulous team to introduce you to! 😁

Everyone, say hello to Sumayyah, one of our Trainee Accountants here at Sempar 👋

Sumayyah has been part of the team for just over a year and supports our clients with everything from bookkeeping, payroll and CIS to VAT returns, accounts preparation and confirmation statements.

What does she love about her role?
For Sumayyah, it’s the people and the relationships she builds along the way.

“I enjoy getting to know our clients and their businesses, and working with such a variety of clients, from limited companies to sole traders. It’s a great way to build my knowledge and experience across different areas of accounting.

What I love about working at Sempar is the people.

Everyone is so supportive and approachable, which makes it a really nice environment to learn and grow in.”

No two days are quite the same for Sumayyah, with her days usually involving bookkeeping, VAT returns, accounts, answering client queries and helping with Companies House updates and confirmation statements. She’s also always happy to lend a hand to her colleagues when needed!

And what about life outside of Sempar?

Sumayyah is an avid reader 📚, a big true crime fan and a very proud Real Madrid supporter ⚽. “I also love spending time with my family and friends and of course, my cat Mano, who is the cutest little girl!” She enjoys cooking and trying different cuisines from around the world.

It’s been just over week since we attended this year’s Staffordshire Chambers Let’s Do Business Expo, and what a great day it was! 🦆

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, picked a duck and took the time to chat with us about their business goals and what their next steps might look like.

It was fantastic to meet so many new faces, catch up with our amazing clients and contacts, and hear from some brilliant speakers who shared their inspiring stories and experiences.

Events like these are a great reminder of the power of bringing businesses together, sharing ideas and building connections. 🤝

☕️ Keele Breakfast Club is back!

After a little summer break, it was great to welcome everyone back to our Keele Breakfast Club this week. It was brilliant to catch up with familiar faces, meet some new ones and hear what everyone has been up to.
