Last week, Lucy and Alex headed to Xerocon London to hear what’s new from Xero, learn from some brilliant speakers and come away with plenty of ideas to bring back to Venton.

From hearing inspiring talks by Louis Theroux, Dame Prue Leith and Jill Scott - JS8 , to exploring the latest product updates (and yes... having a go on the giant slide 😄), it was a brilliant couple of days. The event even finished with an after-party and a live performance from Sophie Ellis-Bextor!

We’re always looking for ways to keep learning, stay ahead of the changes and make sure we’re getting the very best out of the software we use to support you, our clients.

Safe to say it was a great couple of days!

A heads up for company directors and business owners 👀

Companies House has confirmed some changes to how annual accounts will be filed in the future.
The changes don't come into effect until April 2028, but they will affect how many companies prepare and submit their accounts, including the move to software-only filing.
