New announcement from HMRC regarding MTD.
The Making Tax Digital for ITSA rollout for April 2024 is now further postponed and also has added tiers of phased involvement.
In short, businesses, the self employed and landlords with an income (not profit) of under £30k no longer need to sign up to this unless they would like to so its business as usual.
-£50k and over are delayed until April 2026
-£30-£50k are delayed until April 2027
-Anyone VAT registered should already been compliant with MTD

Self-employed individuals and landlords will have more time to prepare for Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax Self Assessment (ITSA), following a government announcement today (19 December 2022).
