As a MATT and FCCA qualified professional, Lisa plays a key role in looking after our clients, managing a team responsible for supporting multiple businesses and ensuring every client receives the highest level of care and attention.
From reviewing year-end accounts and VAT returns to handling HMRC correspondence, Lisa’s thorough approach and eye for detail mean nothing is ever missed. Lisa began her career straight out of sixth form at a local accountancy firm, working her way up through the industry before joining Pulse in 2018 — and we’re so glad she did!

Meet Mark - Our Operations Director

As Operations Director, Mark is responsible for ensuring that Pulse operates as efficiently and effectively as possible. He plays a key role in overseeing the systems, processes, and operational framework that support both our team and our clients, continually looking for ways to improve workflows, streamline processes, and create smarter ways of working across the business.

An FCCA-qualified Chartered Certified Accountant and MAAT Accounting Technician, Mark also holds honours degrees in Economics (BA) and Applied Accounting (BSc). With over 25 years of experience supporting and developing small businesses, he brings a wealth of commercial knowledge and practical expertise to the Pulse team. Throughout his career, he has worked with sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies across a wide range of sectors, helping businesses strengthen their financial and operational foundations.
Mark specialises in developing robust financial systems, controls, and operational processes that drive efficiency, profitability, and long-term resilience. His analytical mindset and data-driven approach allow him to identify opportunities for improvement, ensuring that the right people are focused on the right tasks and equipped with the best tools and systems to succeed.
