If you’re a business owner (or director!), you might need to file a P11D form.

This form tells HMRC about any benefits or expenses you’ve given to employees or directors that weren’t put through payroll — things like company cars, private medical insurance, or even gym memberships 💸

The form is submitted to HMRC, who will then calculate the tax owed by the employee on those benefits.

There's some things that are exempt:
💸 One mobile phone per employee
💸 Work-related training costs
💸 Uniforms or clothing required for your job
💸 Business travel expenses (within HMRC guidelines)
