Had a great day at the Quilter Autumn Syndicate at The Mere in Knutsford yesterday.

Was brilliant to celebrate Quitler's recent successes but also to look ahead to next year when pensions become part of people's estate for Inheritance Tax purposes. Much of the day was spent discussing planning opportunities to mitigate the potentially unforeseen tax bill, and to pass on as much wealth as possible to the next generation.

Was great catching up with Rob Day and Brandon Connolly, who were in the same academy cohort as me, to chat all things finance and all things traffic. I'd forgotten how bad commuting was since working from home!
