We’re delighted to welcome Ali & Robbie to the team in Stornoway for their summer placements! 😎

Ali has just completed his first year in Accountancy and Business Management at Aberdeen Uni, and is eager to gain valuable experience to help with his studies while he’s at home. In his downtime, you’ll find him playing for Carloway FC, as well as at uni! ⚽️

Robbie has completed his third year in Accountancy at GCU, with aspirations to become a chartered accountant after he graduates! Also a keen footballer, you’ll find him playing for Stornoway Aths when he’s at home or in the gym. 💪🏼

If you work in construction, you’ve probably heard of CIS… but what actually is it? 👷‍♀️

The Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) is how HMRC collects tax from contractors and subcontractors in the construction world. It basically means tax is deducted at the source before you even get paid 💸
