Looking for something to keep the whole family entertained this weekend?

We're proud to be supporting Music in the Park this Saturday, hosted in the beautiful surroundings of Belle Vue Park, Penarth and organised by the Friends of Belle Vue Park, a dedicated group of local volunteers.

It's set to be a fun, community event that brings everyone together for an afternoon of live music featuring local bands and artists.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for the Romilly Financial summer social last week!

We welcomed clients, local businesses and professional connections to Hickmans Bar & Restaurant's terrace for a casual evening of drinks, nibbles and great conversation. We even had the weather on our side 🔆

It was fantastic to see so many familiar faces and spend some time celebrating the brilliant community we're proud to be part of here in Penarth.

Having been based on Hickman Road for more than 20 years and servicing the community for almost 30, it felt fitting to bring people together and hope everyone enjoyed themselves!

Yesterday we said a fond farewell to our Paraplanner Richard Evans who is taking the next step in his career and moving to London.

Richard has made a big impact in the team during his 17 months at Romilly Financial. As well as entertaining the office on a regular basis, we’ve also seen him grow in his financial services knowledge and expertise. Most recently he passed his final exams and became Level 4 Qualified with the CII

The timing couldn’t have been better for Richard’s send off, coinciding with our summer social (we’ll be sharing more on this soon) which meant we could toast to all his hard work and wish him the best with some drinks and nibbles on the terrace at Hickmans Bar & Restaurant.

A reminder to come and visit our Remembrance Garden in Penarth 🌼

We’re pleased to share that our Remembrance Garden at the hospice is open throughout the whole of June. A peaceful space filled with beautiful daffodils, it offers a moment to reflect, remember and simply be.

🗓 Open daily throughout June
⏰ 9am – 6pm (Monday to Sunday)
📍 Access via the rear gates near the bandstand

From golf days to garden parties, it's been a busy few days supporting some incredible causes.

On Friday Marcus Rees took to the golf course for Mike Phillips's annual fundraiser for Prostate Cymru. This is the 5th year we've supported the event and yet again, the turnout was fantastic with over 40 teams taking part. Collectively the event has raised over £100,000 for a very important charity.

The sun shone on Saturday for the Marie Curie - Wales garden fayre in Penarth. There was lots of family fun, local vendors and musical performances. A lovely atmosphere and a joy to be involved with.

Back to the office for a busy week of supporting our clients with their financial needs, but we'll have to find time for an ice cream at some point - it's boiling!!
