🍂 Hello October!

How did we get here already?! I know we've been away a while but we are back.

The nights are drawing in, the jumpers are coming back out and somehow we’re heading into the final few months of 2026. This is one of my favourite times of the year.

For business owners, October can be a good time to take stock. How has the year gone so far? Is there anything you’d really like to get sorted before Christmas arrives?

But before we start talking tax, deadlines and year ends… we’re easing ourselves into October with a coffee ☕️

Hi all. It's Helen here 👋. I haven't posted in a while. We haven't been napping, although the my cat has - who doesn't love a cute cat picture 😆. We have been working hard in the office dealing with summer holidays, staff changes, new tax legislation and our own lives as well. Sometimes we can't do it all, so I paused social media for a while. We want to reassure you that this issue is not related to our internal systems — it sits entirely within Companies House’ own WebFiling platform.

You may also receive an email from Companies House regarding this. Please don’t dismiss it as spam — it is likely to be a legitimate communication.

The issue arose due to a vulnerability in their system, which may have allowed unauthorised access to certain company records.

If you do have a company we would suggest you check the details Companies House hold to ensure they are correct.
