FUNDRAISER - Our convicts are currently on site and not particularly enjoying the hospitality of the Crumlin Road Gaol wardens! GMcG's directors are being put to task with a range of punishments, all for our 2026 charity partner Cancer Focus Northern Ireland

We have raised a tremendous amount and are so grateful for all the donations received!

One day to go! On Friday 25th September, our directors will be banished to Crumlin Road Gaol! They have already had a visit to get a sneak preview of where they will spend time recovering from all the mopping, scrubbing and other punishments that have been handed down for the heinous crimes committed.

As you can tell from the photos, they are not particularly looking forward to this one! But it’s all for a very good cause - our major fundraiser for GMcG's 2026 charity partner, Cancer Focus Northern Ireland.

If you have not yet donated, there is still time to do so using the link below. We have raised an amazing amount so far but we really want to go beyond our target, with your help.

As always, a huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far!

There's definitely nothing wrong with having some fun time away from the desk, socialising and adding a little physical activity to the mix! That's what our team of would-be Maradonas did last week at the annual Business Fives tournament in Belfast. A superbly well organised event and great opportunity to catch up with friends and contacts from across different professions.

Well done to 'GMcG FC' who had a great tournament. They also enjoyed a little bit of mentoring from none other than David Healy and training has already commenced in an effort to bring home the silverware next year!

DIRECTORS DETAINED!

We are very excited to announce that time behind bars awaits our GMcG directors on Friday 25th September. But it’s all for a very good cause - our major fundraiser for GMcG's 2026 charity partner, Cancer Focus Northern Ireland.

Directors Susan Dunlop, Gabriel Greene, Nigel Moore, Gill Johnston, Stephen Houston and Paul Black will be banished to Belfast’s Crumlin Road Gaol, to serve time for some of the most unspeakable crimes!

Such crimes cannot go unpunished, so their day at the Gaol will certainly not be a fun day out. From solitary confinement to mopping floors and making beds, a range of different tasks and punishments will provide our esteemed convicts with some time to reflect on where it all went wrong.....

Undoubtedly, Gill will think twice before leaving her cup in the Portadown office sink in future. To read more about this and all their heinous crimes, please click the link below to visit our JustGiving page. Cancer Focus NI is a fantastic local charity and all donations are greatly appreciated, large or small.

Finally, we’re proud of our Directors for not objecting (well, not too strongly) to our photo set-up at Crumlin Road Gaol. No AI was used!

A huge thank you from everyone at GMcG Chartered Accountants.
