After years of helping clients navigate their financial journeys, I’m thrilled to share that I am moving to an independent financial advice model. This marks an exciting evolution in how I can support clients, offering greater flexibility, wider choice, and a truly tailored approach to financial planning.

I want to take a moment to sincerely thank my incredible clients and professional connections for their support during my time at Hayes Financial Planning. Your trust and collaboration have been invaluable, and I’m truly grateful and I look forward to continuing our work together.

I’m now stepping into a new role as Director of Advice and Proposition at McDonald Associates, where I’ll continue to advise clients while also shaping and growing a truly client-centric financial planning proposition. This is an exciting opportunity to build something special - focused on quality advice, long-term relationships, and the best possible outcomes for those we serve.

The financial world is evolving, and I’m excited to embrace new opportunities, innovative planning strategies, and a forward-thinking approach that puts clients first.

🌟 Just received my Chartered Financial Planner status! 🌟

They say a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step…or in this case, a lot of steps and a fair few exams! After over 25 years in financial planning, I'm proud to have hit this milestone, with each qualification adding to the toolbox I bring to client conversations.

Being chartered is about more than just another certificate (although my wall is looking a bit like a gallery now!). It’s about dedicating myself to offering the highest standard of financial advice, ensuring clients have a partner who’s not only experienced but formally recognized for it. In a world where information—and misinformation—are everywhere, this status helps clients know they’re in qualified hands, backed by knowledge, integrity, and commitment.

Looking forward to many more years of making financial planning simpler, more personal, and more meaningful for my clients. Here’s to navigating the journey ahead, one smart financial step at a time! Now, onto my Fellowship.
