From 25th June to 1st September 2026 there is a temporary reduced rate of VAT of 5% that applies to children's meals and drinks (eat in only, not takeaways) and admission to certain attractions, theatres, cinemas, concerts and shows. VAT registered businesses such as restaurants, cafes and attraction venues will therefore need to ensure they are correctly accounting for these sales separately to apply the reduced rate and accurately report the VAT on their VAT returns.

Thanks to the amazing fire service, and a fire door, our office is not damaged too badly. However we will be closed for the foreseeable future whilst we assess any smoke and water damage. Please contact us by email where possible until we can divert phone lines. Thanks everyone for your messages. We are all thinking of the other businesses in our building who were more seriously affected 😞 and are very relieved that everyone is ok.
