The first Making Tax Digital for Income Tax deadline is fast approaching:

Friday 7th August really isn't that far away!

We've already had queries and errors crop up for clients who had said they would be dealing with the first deadline themselves...

If you're self-employed or a landlord earning over £50,000 you are now required to keep digital records and submit updates to HMRC on a quarterly basis.

Please take this post as an action to look at yours IF you plan to do it yourself, you may not be able to... Especially if you encounter any of the errors we've already seen, and it would be better to find out NOW rather than the night before the deadline!

Are you monitoring your sales close enough to know when you'll need to become VAT registered?

Wimbledon starts today 🎾

Many people might not know this, but Cube's branding was inspired by the iconic Wimbledon colours.

The green and purple have become synonymous with one of Britain's most recognisable sporting events and have been part of Wimbledon for well over a century.

When it came to creating the Cube brand, those colours stood out for all the right reasons. Professional, distinctive and instantly recognisable, plus Anne's love for the sport!

So, while the players are battling it out on Centre Court over the next fortnight, we will be cheering on the tennis and quietly appreciating the colour scheme too.
