Budget Key Points:

Coronavirus support -

- Furlough to be extended until the end of September - employers will be asked to contribute 10% in July and 20% in August and September
- Self employment help will continue until September
- £20 uplift in Universal Credit to be extended for another six months
-As the economy opens in the summer, the Government will help people who's turnover has fallen by 30% or more the most

Taxation -

-No changes to rates of income tax, national insurance or VAT
- Personal income tax allowance to be frozen at £12,570 from 2022 to 2026
- Higher rate income tax threshold to be frozen at £50,270 from 2022 to 2026
-Corporation tax on company profits to rise from 19% to 25% in April 2023 - a Small Profits Rate to be created to ensure that businesses with profits under £250,000 will be frozen at 19%
- Reduced VAT rate at 5% for the hospitality & tourism sector to continue for another 6 months, with an interim rate of 12.5% thereafter
- VAT threshold to remain at £85,000 until 2024
- Alcohol and fuel duties increase cancelled

The stamp duty holiday will continue for another 3 months

Welcome to my new business page.....
I have been running my business for 4 years and have been qualified for over 20 years.
My experience consists of data entry onto various computer systems, including Sage & Quickbooks, as well as manual ledgers. Also managing Accounts Payable and Receivable, Bank and Cashbook Reconciliations, preparing VAT Returns, preparing payroll, filing tax returns for limited companies as well as sole traders and partnerships and completing monthly and annual accounts. I have also trained clients on setting up their own accounting software, which included setting up a Chart of Accounts, supplier & customer databases, stock systems & the running of weekly & monthly payroll.
