🔍 About the Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our diverse client base – from sole traders and partnerships to growing SMEs – across a wide range of industries.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing year-end accounts, management accounts, and tax returns
Overseeing bookkeeping, VAT returns, and payroll where required
Reviewing and mentoring junior team members
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
Supporting the partners with business development and practice growth initiatives
✅ What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 4 years of experience in an accountancy practice (essential)
AAT qualified (or equivalent/higher such as ACCA/ACA – part or fully qualified)
Strong working knowledge of cloud-based software (Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, organised, and able to manage your own client portfolio
A team player with a hands-on, can-do attitude
