We have been successfully supporting farmers over the last couple of years in adapting to the agricultural transition, providing free business advice to farmers via the Future Farm Resilience Fund (FFRF) in Partnership with Ricardo plc.

With the scheme due to end officially in Spring 2025 and take up for our offer having been strong, we anticipate closing for new registrations this Autumn 2024.

Our offer includes up to three days of free consultancy support, including a face-to-face meeting with a business consultant from Andersons, a detailed report and action plan, and follow-up support.

The assistance is tailored to each business and typically might include:
- Providing expertise to review the business and help with future planning.
- Looking at joint ventures, diversification or the feasibility of options for the future.
- Business finance, debt re-structuring, analysis of capital investment and future funding, or forward budgeting and cashflow management.

Slurry Infrastructure Grant - Finally!

Really pleased to see that the details of the Slurry Infrastructure Grant have now been announced.

The grant is available to , and farmers to help , build additional or slurry stores to provide 6 months' storage.

The grant will fund storage infrastructure, covers and items such as fencing, slurry pumps and agitators. With funding from £25,000 to £250,000 (at 50% grant rate).

The eligibility checker opens on 6th December 2022. For those in priority areas with eligible projects, you will then be invited to submit a full application.

FUTURE FARMING RESILIENCE FUND

We are delighted to have been awarded a contract by Defra, in Partnership with Ricardo to provide FREE business advice to farmers and land managers in England, as they prepare for the agricultural transition.

The scheme involves a face to face meeting with an Andersons Consultant, a detailed report and follow up support where required.

**FARMING INVESTMENT FUND – NOW OPEN**

The long awaited Farming Investment Fund opened yesterday. This is a £27 million fund providing grants to farmers, growers and foresters (including related contractors) to invest in items to improve productivity and enhance the natural environment.

The fund is made up of two parts:

• The Farming Equipment & Technology Fund
• The Farming Transformation Fund
