As the festive season is upon us, we just wanted to take the time to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope the holiday season brings you joy, relaxation, and a chance to recharge for the exciting year ahead.

See you in 2025 in our new office at the old Clydesdale Bank in Saltcoats, only a couple of miles from our current office. We will be moving on the 7th January 2025 and look forward to welcoming you there in the future.

Full Time Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper
Job Description
We are an independent Accountants based in Ayrshire and have position for an experienced accounts assistant/bookkeeper to join our friendly team. This position is office based.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Monthly bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns.
• Preparation of Financial Statements for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and charitable organisations.
• Ad hoc admin duties.

Skills:
• Preferred at least 2 years work experience within practice.
• Experience of accountancy software essential preferably Xero
• Good Microsoft Office knowledge
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise jobs is key.

The successful candidate will be reliable, punctual. hardworking, able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

Salary negotiable depending on qualifications/experience and skillset
Pension
Free On-site parking

Full time 35 hour week Monday - Friday
