Money… just keep it simple 😁
Here are four areas which you need to think about, when planning your future.
1. Money in 💷
Do you really understand what you are earning? Think about your gross annual salary, then consider the deductions on your monthly payslip. What are you then left with? Make sure it is correct
2. Money out (bills) 📉
Seems pretty straightforward, but make sure your ins, cover your outs. Think about your essential spending versus your leisure spending. In addition to this, what do you have left over to save?
3. Savings ✅
Do you have, or are you working towards saving 3-6 months of your outgoings? Try to consider this, to rely less on unstructured debts such as credit cards and overdrafts. In addition to this, this could cover areas like short term plans (holidays, buy a car) and mortgage deposits
4. Long term planning 👴🏻
Think of this area for investments and pensions, putting money away for the future. Sometimes this final pillar can seem daunting, but there’s plenty of ways to maximise this and keep the first 3 pillars in place
🤔- how would you feel having these pillars in place?
