Life has been keeping me very busy lately but in all the best ways 🥹 I love sharing the journey with you all so here’s a little personal update..

House update
We officially said goodbye to our home where Ivy had her first steps, first words, first everything 🤍 It was emotional but we’ve now moved in with our family while we build our next home. Most nights right now look like picture 7 while Ivy is settling, but it’s so nice spending this time with our family and this family home is really special to us.

The original house on our new plot is now fully demolished, lots of fun was had by Ben and my brother in law 🔨😅 and now we’re just a few weeks away from starting the build of the two bungalows, my Pinterest board is working overtime right now!

Little life moments
We celebrated my beautiful cousin’s wedding in Rhodes. Half of my family live up North so a week together was so special to me, the kind of time you don’t get often enough.

Then there’s the small moments inbetween, walks, zoo’s, water fights in the garden and client wins every single week, I can’t wait to share all of them!

Feeling very grateful for everything right now and ready for what the rest of 2026 has to offer us all ✨

Can’t quite believe this day is finally here for us 🏠✨

Another milestone ticked off — but this one is a lot bigger, a little scarier… and so much more exciting. This time, we’re doing it together with our family, and that makes it even more special 🥹

We’ve always loved renovating homes, but now we’re stepping into our next chapter — knocking down and building two homes from the ground up and I can’t wait to bring you along for every step of the journey 🔑✨

Two posts in one day! 👀

This one might not be quite as fun (although I do try my best to keep mortgages light hearted! 😅), but it’s an important one and answers a question a few of you have been asking recently…

What impact is the conflict in the Middle East having on mortgage rates?

When global uncertainty increases, financial markets react quickly. You may have already seen this with the recent rises in oil and gas prices.

The same uncertainty can also affect the market lenders use to price fixed-rate mortgages & this week those markets have seen increases, which means some lenders have started to raise their fixed mortgage rates.

This isn’t unusual — we’ve seen similar reactions before, and they’re often temporary responses to global events.

The key thing to remember is don’t panic ❤️ There’s never really a “perfect” time to apply for a mortgage. In many cases, starting the process sooner can actually be beneficial because we can secure a rate now and protect you from any potential increases while your application progresses, just like my current clients know and were very happy to receive that voice note from me yesterday reassuring them!

When I tell my clients ‘I completely understand what you’re going through’ I’m not just saying it 😅 it’s because I genuinely do 🙌🏼🏡

We’re just about to complete on our third home project and start a brand new, very exciting, slightly out my comfort zone, chapter of our own 👀 But it does not matter how many times you go through the process the same emotions still pop up, mainly excitement but also some nerves, waiting and checking emails constantly and lots of questions. Even as a mortgage advisor helping you go through this every single day I still have questions and the same emotions!

It is emotional, whether you’re selling your family home where really special memories have been made but the time has come to move on, or whether it’s purchasing your first home you’ve worked so hard for, it’s not just a transaction & it’s so important to have someone in your corner who truly understands the journey, to take the weight of you, do the chasing for you and be there every step of the way! I feel incredibly grateful that my job allows me to support people through these journeys.

I will be taking you along with me on our next project so keep checking back in for updates!

Thank you soo much to my lovely clients for their kind words, client love like this light up my day and mean so much to me 🥹

These clients in particular came to me with no protection in place and were keen to explore their options especially now they had their sweet daughter. They are now protected for up to a total of £330,954, if the worst was to happen to one of them they could now clear their mortgage and also continue receiving an additional income up until their daughter is 21 if the main breadwinner was to pass away, and all within their budget of £40 per month!! Now they have peace of mind and their biggest asset, which is them!, is protected 🏠 💛
