Fraser & Co was established in 1989 by Stuart Fraser who after working in varied roles from farming, banking and accountancy decided to set up his own accountancy practice. Stuart has a wealth of experience in all areas of practice with an enviable ability of seeing the bigger picture. This attribute is invaluable to help business owners grow their business and maximise their potential. Outside of

work, Stuart has a keen interest in motorbikes, his smallholding and is a singer in local band Fraser Road Race. When he is not looking after his pigs, he is most likely rehearsing for his next gig or spending time with his grandchildren. In October 2016, Darren Powell joined the firm as a partner having previously started his accountancy career with Stuart many years ago. Darren is a Chartered Accountant and has acted for a variety of clients from small Sole Traders to Limited Companies. Darren moved to Fraser & Co from his previous role managing a small practice locally and is the main contact for Corporate clients. When he is not working, you will most likely see Darren out in the countryside with his two Labradors. His interests include shooting, Hiking, cycling and Aikido.
