Quick mileage reminder 🚗

From 6 April 2026, the HMRC mileage rate increased to 55p per mile for the first 10,000 qualifying business miles when you use your own car or van.

Those small journeys can soon add up, so make sure you’re recording your business mileage as you go.

I’ve remembered how much I love working outside.

MTD Income Tax — Don’t Wait for HMRC

From September 2026, HMRC will start signing up taxpayers who should have joined MTD Income Tax from April 2026 but haven’t.

If that’s you, or your accountant normally handles this for you, get it sorted before HMRC does.
