I’ve remembered how much I love working outside.

MTD Income Tax — Don’t Wait for HMRC

From September 2026, HMRC will start signing up taxpayers who should have joined MTD Income Tax from April 2026 but haven’t.

If that’s you, or your accountant normally handles this for you, get it sorted before HMRC does.

Good Questions Lead to Better Decisions

One thing I’ve learnt over the years is that the best conversations rarely start with answers.

They start with good questions.

Whether I’m talking to a client about tax, cash flow or growing their business, the first question is often far more important than the solution.

I’ve found that asking the right question usually brings clarity.

And with clarity comes better decisions.

It’s a simple reminder that applies just as much to life as it does to business.
