What do compliance updates, ESG investing, client feedback, summer party planning, impromptu Oasis covers and goats all have in common? 🐐

Our quarterly team meeting, of course!

Today, the whole Lucent team got together to hear updates on how we're progressing as a business, take part in an excellent compliance session, review the results of our recent client survey, and discuss ESG investing.

We even had a chance to get acquainted with the venue we'll be heading back to soon for our Summer Hoedown. 🤠

A fantastic day of learning, collaboration and team bonding - with a few furry spectators thrown in for good measure!🐐

The sunshine was definitely the star of the show this weekend, and the Lucent team made the most of every minute! ☀️

🍹 A few of us started the weekend with after-work drinks in the sun on Friday.

🏃‍♀️ Mel smashed a new PB at the Northbrook 10K - despite the heat and those pesky hills!

💒 Karen enjoyed a beautiful wedding at Newlands Bishop Farm (and couldn't help but check out the venue for our upcoming client summer party too!).

✨ Becky spent a magical weekend at EuroDisney.

🇮🇹 Scott celebrated his dad's birthday in beautiful Lake Maggiore.

💦 Jess kept cool with a paddling pool in the garden.

⚽ And like many of us, Jamie spent Sunday cheering on England, watching the game at the Indian Brewery.

A lovely mix of sunshine, celebrations and making memories. That's what summer weekends are all about 💙

At Lucent, we plan for the future, without forgetting to make the most of today!

With travel, music, racing, gardening and some very happy dogs - it's been another brilliant week for the Lucent team!

🇫🇷 Hasna enjoyed an amazing trip to Paris, including a visit to Disneyland.
🎸 Keely had a fantastic day seeing Don Broco, Biffy Clyro and Nothing But Thieves in Finsbury Park.
🏎️ Jasmine spent the weekend at Silverstone supporting Lewis Hamilton at the Grand Prix.
🇵🇱 Melissa enjoyed a lovely getaway exploring Krakow.
🐕 Becky spent some quality time with Spider.
🍒 Aline was excited to see cherries growing in her garden.

We love seeing all the different ways people spend their weekends - from big adventures abroad to enjoying the simple things closer to home.

✨ Team Talk Tuesday ✨

This week's Lucent adventures included weddings in caves, Metallica concerts, alpaca shopping (almost!) and home-grown potatoes... and we thought we'd heard it all! 😄

🤘 Lee went to a wedding at Wookey Hole before heading to Cardiff to see Metallica.

🦙 Joe nearly bought an alpaca while visiting a friend in Chichester - until he discovered they're not keen on living alone!

🥔 Jas harvested some fantastic-looking potatoes from the allotment.

💒 Scott celebrated a friend's wedding in Bude.

⚽ Keely made the most of the sunshine with friends, football and some relaxing garden time.

🎶 Rachel somehow managed to fit in three gigs in three different cities over the weekend. We need some of that energy!

Just another week of making memories and enjoying life beyond the office 💙

Last week we were lucky to have two fantastic work experience students, Joe and Charlie, join us 💙

They got stuck into all areas of the business - from financial advice and paraplanning to client experience, marketing and events - and were such a great help to the team.
