Starting the week with a lovely testimonial, I work with high net worth business leaders, in both UnderBanks® Residential and UnderBanks® Commercial- This usually means complexities all the way through with loans in excess of £1m being my day to day chatter. This particular case was tricky, it just kept giving challenge, and it did take every ounce of experience to get it over the line. It's very rewarding to have such strong, kind words.

In aid of mental heath awareness 'week' HELP! There is no shame in asking for HELP, but do be careful who you ask.

The saddest thing is people like to take advantage when others are down, possibly one of the most distressing and upsetting facts of all. Genuine HELP is hard to find and WE find unconditional, no bounds, no expectations, no agenda tends to come from people of faith.

If you've ever been in a downward spiral, you will know it's hard to get out and back to who you were, sadly others want to keep you there, seems a form of control. Guilt and shame surround the recovery, taking control is really important, trust and guidance is needed but you will have to do the hard work without putting dependency into the wrong hands. The world has become so angry, so taking, so entitled. Society has changed and true kindness is really hard to find.

This is so depressing to know, isn't it, but it's true.

We care about you unconditionally, whatever your need we will always seek the right support and HELP for you. There is no judgement here.

HELP is at hand, if you need it and it is our job to identify your vulnerabilities and ensure you are correctly supported, guided to the best outcome and not taken advantage of.

Our Customer's Interest is a core principle, it doesn't need to be taught, it just is!

In aid of Mental Health month - as a regulated broker it’s our job to identify vulnerabilities and ensure this is noted and each client is protected, this isn't a week or a month in the year, this is every day. We follow this practice in both our regulated and unregulated consultancy firms, and beyond, its unbelievable this isn’t acknowledged across all professional services. BE MINDFUL of your people and what they are going through, vulnerabilities come in all shapes and sizes, be kind, treat people fairly and do not take advantage of their needs, that would be breaking all sorts of conduct rules, complexities are not vulnerabilities! LOOK OUT FOR PEOPLE, don’t take kindness as a weakness. Integrity is something you do when no one else is watching.
