It was a fantastic opportunity to hear about the latest developments in cloud accounting and bookkeeping, explore new technology, and connect with other professionals across the industry. Especially Briefcase and Apron who we already partner with - it was great to hear the updates you have coming later this year!

How One Conversation Uncovered a Six-Figure Annual Tax Saving💷

A business owner approached us to prepare the accounts for one of his companies.

During our meeting, the conversation moved from compliance onto a a significant commercial property investment he was planning through another business.

By taking the time to understand the wider picture, we identified an opportunity to restructure how the investment was funded. The result was a recurring annual tax saving equivalent to almost 20% of the interest generated, while also improving the director's long-term position.

We were also able to highlight the potential benefits of opting to tax the commercial properties, which could allow the property-owning company to recover VAT on associated costs and future improvements.

Sometimes the biggest opportunities aren't found in the accounts you've asked us to prepare, they're found in the conversations we have around them.

Grant Funding Has Reopened for Local Businesses 💻
