Dragon Willow

Just one of the willow sculptures and baskets that will be available in a 3 hour pop up sale I am having at the end of this month. There will be ex-rental sculptures, new sculptures (like the fox) and all sorts of baskets including my heart baskets.

I will post more information about the pop up sale in a few days.

I brought this guy back to do some tlc work yesterday. Today I added some metal to the framework (as hes located at the entrance to the plotters forest which is a very cool forest play area, the description doesn't really do it justice).

Today I've been outside welding with a bit of weaving and its hot 🔥🔥 still job done and I'm now at home in the cool! Having not set fire to said squirrel!

These two are hire sculptures, they were damaged by a lorry the last time they went out. It's only taken a year but they are back!

Finished today and proud as......... well peacocks!

Happy Armed Forces Day to all serving personnel and veterans out there.

As ex-RAF I will be celebrating by making a willow sculpture, I am currently waiting on a delivery of buff willow to make 20 Fire Suction Strainer baskets for the fire service and have temporary moved my willow work to my garden under the shade of a gazebo as my workshop is quite warm (an issue I know I'm not on my own with!).

The sculpture in this pic is one of my hire sculptures, a hurricane, this will next be on display in August at who have loads of fun events going on this summer.

These three sculptures were picked up at the beginning of the month by as they traveled from the opening of an ex Chelsea Flower show garden they designed and built to their buisiness in East Sussex.

They are going to be part of the .heathfield show garden at the RHS Badminton Flower Show . Being built by Frogheath Landscapes.

The sculptures are of a granddaughter reading to her grandmother on a bench and a cricketer, they are supplying their own cricket bat.

The RHS Badminton flowershow is on the 8th-12th July and I can honestly say my heart goes out to all gardeners trying to prepare for anything especially show gardens in this heat!

Todays one off dragon workshop, well done everyone, I hope your dogs like them.

This was the last of my workshops in this round of workshops. They re-start again in August, see my website for details, there's dogs, deer, baskets and all sorts.I have 3 additions to what's on my workshop and they will be on soon, my spider, bat and sheep workshops.

I asked my husband to hold some branches this morning while I welded them on and he sent me a whole host of pics...... apparently he loves the sparks!

So I've finished the edging and what a week. I met some absolutely lovely people from all over the world, got me a sun tan, made some edging and loved every minute of it.

The beds now have a beautiful willow edging rather than chicken wire to dissuade the bunnys!

I wonder what my next peoject is 🤔 Find out tomorrow.
