A C Mole are delighted to have raised £7,880.58 for our Charity of the Year, St Margaret's Somerset Hospice, through a range of fundraising activities over the past 12 months, including our popular charity golf day.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported, sponsored and took part in our events. We know just how much of a difference this money will make in helping St Margaret’s Hospice continue the incredible care and support they provide to patients and families across Somerset.

We are proud to support such a fantastic local charity and look forward to continuing our fundraising efforts in the future. 💙

A few of the team swapped spreadsheets for scorecards yesterday with an internal golf match at Vivary Park Golf Club.

Despite the hot conditions there were plenty of laughs, some impressive golf and the occasional visit to the trees.

Last night the A C Mole team took to the Queen's College, Taunton field to take part in the annual Clarke Willmott Rounders tournament, raising funds for local charity PROMISEworks.

Competing against teams from Everys Solicitors LLP, Stephens Scown and Symonds & Sampson. ACM were drawn in a group of four and put in a strong performance throughout the evening.

With three wins from three matches, ACM topped the group and finished as group winners!

The evening was rounded off with burgers and hot dogs with a chance to catch up with familiar faces from other businesses.

PROMISEworks is a charity which offers mentoring services to disadvantaged children and young people in Somerset, helping them to build confidence, resilience and brighter futures.

More important than the result, it was an amazing opportunity to support a charity that makes a real difference to the lives of children and young people across Somerset.

Over the weekend, Katie and Max volunteered as pacers at Race for Life 10K, helping participants maintain their target pace and achieve their goals.

It was a fantastic event with a great atmosphere, and we're proud to have been able to support such an important cause within our local community.

Companies House has confirmed that significant changes to company accounts filing requirements will come into effect from April 2028 under reforms introduced by the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023. One of the most notable changes is that small companies and micro-entities will be required to file a profit and loss account with Companies House.

Last Thursday, we were delighted to take part in the Stags rounders tournament in support of the RNLI.

It was a fantastic event, as it always is, bringing people together to raise funds for an incredible cause.

After winning all three group-stage matches and progressing through the semi-final, we faced a strong Porter Dodson side in the final. Following a competitive contest, we were delighted to lift the trophy once again, making it three tournament victories from three appearances.

The day was rounded off with a well-earned burger and drink as we celebrated the team’s success.

A huge thank you to Stags for organising such a brilliant event. We had a great time and are already looking forward to the next one.

Last week the partners at A C Mole welcomed clients and contacts to join them at Somerset County Cricket Club where we cheered on Somerset in a local derby against Gloucestershire.
