As we close another incredibly successful year Creasey & Co Chartered Accountants , we really want to take a moment to thank our wonderful clients - being able to go to work each day and help you all navigate the colourful landscape of accountancy and tax is what we love to do 💓

Over the last year we have accomplished so much;

⭐️ navigating the implementation of MTD ITSA
⭐️ taking on over 100 new clients
⭐️ creating a variety of informative videos on various topics ⭐️ maintaining strong relationships with our clients

This year we are so excited to continue our journey, and will be adding a new member of staff to the team in November. 🩷

The first quarter of the new Making Tax Digital for Income Tax is done!

This has been our busiest month ever, with an additional 30 MTD for ITSA returns, including 4 new clients! To ensure we made the most accurate submissions we also ensured their 25/26 tax returns had been submitted - this is on top of all our usual VAT returns/ accounts / payrolls and daily queries! 😮‍💨

As a small business owner, I really appreciate how our clients have faced this additional requirement placed on them by the government AND your patience with us as we also navigate it on a massive scale!

Above all, I can’t thank my wonderful staff enough - especially Lizzy. If you are a client you will likely already know about our fabulous Lizzy!

Lizzy has been the mastermind behind all our new MTD processes and controls from start to finish - this is no small feat! Well done and thankyou Lizzy! 🩷

🚨 New ISA Rules Coming in 2027

Don’t panic! Your Stocks & Shares ISA investments are still tax-free. 📈

The change only affects cash left sitting uninvested in a Stocks & Shares ISA. Interest earned on that cash will be subject to a 22% charge.

✅ If your money is invested, or you’re only holding cash temporarily before investing, this is unlikely to affect you.

This week we had the absolute pleasure of watching at the new - the first Thursday of every month in Berko! It was absolutely brilliant - so make sure you get tickets quick for next month! 🎤

We also saw the lovely Anna open her ‘Preloved to Reloved’ shop in Ivinghoe - opposite the rec. Such a lovely space with some great bargains - AND all the profits go to amazing local causes 🧡
