Consistency is Key 🔑

I’ve been a little quiet on my social platforms recently, which is unlike me.

The truth is, I’ve been so busy developing my Network, Brand and Business, I’ve struggled to find the time to commit to my social platforms.

Something I’ve also learnt after spending so long in a Corporate environment - is that my new job never stops - 4am starts to 10pm finishes & the phone is always on.

So here is my commitment to consistency - regular weekly Instagram updates, focusing on financial well-being, information and education.

Love, Hate relationships (with exams)

There’s a lot that comes with being a Financial Adviser & part of that is the continuous opportunity you have to further your knowledge and take exams.

It does mean late night study, sacrifice and missing Love Island of an evening - but when you achieve that pass mark, it makes it all worth it.

It also provides peace of mind to my clients, that I have the knowledge and application to provide the best advice possible with their best interests at heart.

It’s not all glamorous offices, lunches and Networking opportunities - it can be very hard work.

Perhaps you’re thinking how to better yourself this year? A great place to start would be to review your plans and finances to put you in the best possible position to reach your goals?

Over the last 6 months, I have taken 23 exams & accreditations, worked tirelessly on my network to change perception from ‘Jon the Commercial Banker’ to ‘Jon the Financial Adviser’ & preparing for my business launch - thankfully, now, the day is finally here.

My official appointment means I will working full time with & what a fantastic practice to be a part of.

Retaining the money and wealth you’ve earned, is just as important as generating it in the first place.

Ever thought about retiring to the coast? It’s certainly in my plan!

It’s never too early to start planning for your retirement, in fact, the earlier the better.

1 in 6 over 55’s do not have any pension savings at all, and will have to rely solely on state pension (providing they qualify) - with the ever increasing cost of living, this is unlikely to stretch far.

* A VERY BUSY BUT VERY IMPORTANT POST*

This morning the chancellor has announced tens of billions in tax rises and spending cuts in the Autumn Statement

Benefits and the state pension will rise in April in line with inflation - a 10.1% increase that reflects the higher prices people are paying now

He announced a freeze on income tax thresholds, meaning millions of people will pay more in tax as their wages rise

Above I have highlighted some of the key points from the Autumn statement.
