On 21st August, LBWM superstar Ben, alongside friends Benjy and Archie, took on the incredible National Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Dementia UK! 🏔️💙
The challenge involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales — all within 24 hours!
Over the weekend, they achieved:
🥾 26 miles (42 km) of walking
⛰️ 3,064 metres (10,052 ft) of ascent
🚗 462 miles travelled between the peaks
🕒 Challenge completed in an amazing 22 hours and 34 minutes!
And with a huge helping hand from Carey, who drove an incredible 1,600 miles over the weekend getting the team to Scotland and home from Snowdon! 🚐👏
Most importantly, the team raised an incredible £1,635 for Dementia UK! 💙
A massive congratulations to Ben, Benjy, Archie and Carey — what an amazing achievement! 👏🏔️💪

On 11 August, the LB Team headed to NEW FOREST ACTIVITIES for an action-packed team-building day — and what an amazing day it was! 🌲💪

From tactical Seek & Capture laser tag in the forest to races and impressive feats of balance on the beautiful Beaulieu River, there was plenty of fun, teamwork and laughter… although not everyone was quite as sure-footed! 😂

It was a fantastic opportunity to work alongside members of the LB family that we don’t get to interact with every day. All in all, it was a day filled with smiles, teamwork and a few tired, wet bodies! 💦😄

A huge thank you to New Forest Activities for a brilliant day! 🙌

Congratulations to Catherine on successfully renewing her Financial Abuse qualification, reinforcing her expertise and commitment to supporting vulnerable clients.
This qualification demonstrates:

• The skills required to identify and manage suspected cases of financial abuse.
• An appreciation of international perspectives and examples of financial abuse.
• The ability to use specialist documentation to support the identification, management, and ongoing care of clients experiencing financial abuse.

On Saturday 4 July, 12 of the Lester Brunt family took on the Macmillan Jurassic Coast Mighty Hike. Many congratulations to our team who completed either the 26 or 14 miles hike raising money for the St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation: Martin, Rob, Ben, Tom, Lauren, Toby and Charlie and Rachel, Liz, Mia, Lou and Victoria raised a fantastic £3,491.41 (with Gift Aid) which will be matched by St. James’s Place.

It was tough going at times, but we all finished with smiles, along with some blisters and sore limbs! A great day though in beautiful country supporting a fantastic cause that makes such a huge difference to people when they really need it….
