It’s the final day of our Eurovision-themed office Olympics, with the final event being the fabled wiener swing! Only two brave competitors took on this difficult challenge, and it was Tom from Team Sweden that took the very last gold medal. However, despite this taking Sweden up to 30 points, level with the top spot, Team Italy takes the overall Olympic title (and the hamper of goodies) as they’ve won 3 golds to Sweden’s 2. Congratulations Team Italy and thanks to everyone that took part!

Day 4 of our Eurovision-themed office Olympics was a quickfire country guessing game. It was a close battle between Team Greece's Louisa and a trio of well-travelled competitors from Team Italy! Ultimately though, Team Italy's combined knowledge earned them another gold medal. We'll see if Italy can hold onto their lead tomorrow, or if Sweden can catch up...

We're on day 3 of our Eurovision-themed office Olympics, and today's task was to identify as many cuisines as possible whilst blindfolded. Teams Spain, Denmark and Italy all proved their palettes were perfect, with all the three teams joint first by the end! It's all to play for so come back tomorrow to see how the teams will stack up...

Day 2 of our Eurovision-themed Olympics saw our teams compete in a fast-paced 'Guess the Lyric' game with points only awarded to the first person to guess. Annabel, representing Team Sweden, was particularly quick on the buzzer and comfortably took today's gold medal, rocketing Sweden up to third in the overall table! It’s Day 1 of our Eurovision-themed office Olympics for 2026! We kicked things off with what turned out to be a rather difficult game of Song Title Charades. Congratulations to Team Germany and Team Italy for navigating the chaos and taking joint first! We’ll see you tomorrow for the next event…

It’s the final day of the Great Affinity Bake Off, and we’ve got two more delicious entries! Both Alex with his Red Velvet Brownies and Tom with his Millionaire “Bites” are looking to swoop in and take a last-minute victory. But what will the judges decide? Come back tomorrow to find out!

The Great Affinity Bake Off is heating up, with two new bakes joining the competition since the weekend, with Lauren’s Mini-Egg Cookies and Louisa’s Sheep-Themed Chocolate Cake! Both have very different takes on the Spring theme, and both have impressed the judges. But have either done enough to earn the title of Star Baker this year? We’ll keep you posted!

Is there a better phrase to kick off the Affinity Spring Bake Off than ‘Lemon Curd Crumble Cake’? Our judges didn’t seem to think there was! A very strong entry from Zoe, representing the marketing team, to start the competition. But with many more bakes sure to come over the weekend, will anyone surpass this already high bar? We’ll see very soon!

We’re proud to support our local community this Easter 🐣

The Affinity Group recently donated a collection of Easter eggs to Ferndown Community Support feat Ferndown Community Larder and bank, helping bring a little extra joy to families supported by their Community Larder.

The Larder plays a vital role in providing food and essentials to local residents while reducing waste and supporting those who need it most.

A small gesture that we hope makes a big difference this Easter 💛

It's ! We've been guessing the bookshelves of our colleagues, swapping books with each other and partaking in the main World Book Day tradition - a little fancy dress! Congratulations to Natalie, whose Paddington costume (with a real marmalade sandwich no less) took the top spot in our competition!

Today is the last day of Adrian’s 30-year tenure with us here at The Affinity Group. To celebrate, the entire SG team showed up in Adrian masks to honour their long-time colleague, and he himself decided to end his time with us in style – in a suit with newly dyed pink hair! The SG team won’t be the same without him, and we wish him all the best for his future endeavours.
